TNT has extended its Clinical Express service to France. In addition, it has extended the geographical coverage of its next-day delivery service.
The Clinical Express service provides quick and safe delivery of time and temperature-sensitive clinical samples and supplies for the medical, pharmaceutical and biotech industries thus supporting the validation process of new pharmaceuticals before their market launch.
One third of the very short life span of the samples is spent on transportation. The fragility of these samplings requires special packaging and reliable transport with delivery dates kept strictly, TNT Express France explained. The transport solution enables preservation of the integrity of the dispatched samples ensuring their biological conservation at a temperature between -20°C and +8°C.
Worldwide, TNT has already delivered more than a million express shipments with clinical samples for the big players of the health industry.
Separately, TNT Express now provides next-day delivery to thousands of additional communes in the country. With immediate effect, 5,600 communes are served before 9:00 in the morning, 7,200 communes before 10:00 and 13,500 can benefit from delivery before 12:00.
Nationwide, TNT Express provides next-day delivery before 13:00 and in the early afternoon to rural areas.
